Enhanced functionality includes:
- work center scrap factors tiered by operation
- quantity fixed setup scrap by work center and operation quantity
- adjustment of order header quantities, operation quantities, and reservation quantities to reflect the actual operation scrap factors
Typically, the scrap rate for an operation varies with the operation quantity (the longer the run, the lower the percentage scrap) and the standard functionality doesn’t consider this, but the asset does.
